Coming up on Ponyfic Roundup

You're right: I don't have anything interesting to say today. So you're getting this. You already know that the next issue's Roundup (no. 140) will be a Scootaloo special, but here's a quick look at what's coming after that. Note that these are not set in stone, so don't be surprised if the order ends up changing a bit. This is what I'm currently planning, though:

PR 141: Mixed bag, mostly short one-shots
PR 142: Carrot Top Edition (yes, it's happening!)
PR 143: Semi-random Edition (RiL fics only)
PR 144: Royal Canterlot Library Edition II
PR 145: Another mixed bag, since I like doing those
PR 146: Horsewords

Nothing much has been decided beyond that, though I expect there'll be another Spotlight in the not-too-distant future, as well as more character-themed editions. I'm also just beginning to consider what to do for PR 150, though I really don't have a clue at this point what I'll plump for in the end.

  1. Awww yeeeeeeeesssssssssss

Suggestion for PR 150: A story from every year since the start of the fandom? Or maybe a story from every season of the show. Something with a sense of "fanfic history" to it, anyway.

    1. You wait until all the reviews end with "The only real problem with this story is Carrot Top. Take her out of the picture and it'd be great."

And a couple of interesting ideas there. Even if I don't use them for PR 150, they're going on the list for the future. Thanks!

  2. You could always do a mixed bag of authors mixed bags. That is to say, a review of scraps collections.

    1. I don't really do minific collection reviews. Part of that is because I've seen Present Perfect do it, and it looks like way too much work for lazy ol' me. The other problem is that, with a few exceptions, collections are incomplete. I'd be a little more likely to review selected minifics individually, I think.

    2. But then you will fall into the neverending trap of not being able to review all the minifics, like me. :C

    3. Good point! Maybe the best option is never to review – or even read – another fic of any kind, ever. :D
