Coming in 2015...

  • More readings. I've been slacking a bit with these, but I'll try to pick up the pace again. It Doesn't Matter Now is likely to be the first one I do.
  • Even more ponyfic reviews! Remember that I'll be using the star ratings from now on.
  • More writing. I'll finally finish Where They Understand You, maybe get a darkfic written and possibly even try something centring on a background pony.
  • This is far from decided, but I've been thinking for quite a while about doing a little series of posts about how I see each character. My Fluttershy, My Twilight,  etc.
  • Reviews of comics, books and other such things. I'm behind on them as it is, with G. M. Berrow's Fluttershy book imminent.
  • The occasional rant about something in the fandom.
  • Rambling about conventions, especially the few I may actually have a chance of attending.
  • And, of course, Season 5! The plan right now is to do roughly what I did for S4 and review each episode shortly after broadcast. I'll probably adopt star ratings for these, too.

  1. Looks like there's plenty there to keep you busy(er) than ever! Of course if you do a reading of "It Doesn't Matter Now" I will have to insist that you do The Pinkie Voice. ;)

A darkfic could be very interesting. It would be something very different, and I honestly think it's something you could do very well. After all, with "It Doesn't Matter Now" I don't think of it as a darkfic, but it is a very dark story in it's own way. (After all, it's about the end of everything!) And there are a few quite dark moments in "Where They Understand You" so I think it's something you could do well, and I'd certainly be very interested to read it.

But yes, all in all there's plenty of good stuff listed there! :)

    1. What I'm thinking of would be closer to horror in stone ways... but absolutely not the gory sort of horror. Atmospheric would be the aim something more like a ghost story. :)

    2. Bleah, phones... I meant "some ways", not "stone ways"!

    3. Ahh, well that's good to hear. That sort is the kind of story I'd prefer to read, to be honest, and I personally can't help thinking it takes more skill and effort to write something atmospheric than gore-for-the-sake-of-it.
