Terry Pratchett

I would love to have some wonderful thought to place here, but sadly I don't. All I'll say, as a writer on a much lower plane myself, is that Sir Pterry helped to convince many, many people of the power of storytelling. Even had he done nothing else, for that alone he would have been a great man.

    On that evidence, with such a staggering legacy of 70 million book sales or more, he'll be remembered for a very, very long time.

    1. I really love that quote; it's just perfect. I suppose one of the marks of a great writer is that they can come up with lines like that, lines that seem so right.
