You know, I did occasionally wonder over the past few weeks whether travelling to Manchester for a one-day con – and only part of one at that, given I had to miss the evening session – was going to be worth it.

Thanks! I knew I'd have some good things come out of it, since I'd see some friends I don't get to meet that often, but I wasn't sure about some aspects of the convention itself. It wasn't perfect, but I'm very satisfied overall. Whether it will return in 2020 I have no idea, but I'd at least consider going again if it does.
