The more famous one, though, is in episode two: he's the guy who throws his money away and walks naked into the sea. (This was supposed to be done by an extra, but said extra called in sick.)

The radio series is worth it, I think, unless you hate audiobooks. You do lose the "computer graphics", which to me is a major hit, and inevitably some of the plotlines are different – that's HHG for you. The hardest thing for me to come to terms with was having some, but only some, of the VAs being different actors to their TV equivalents.
Loganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03769758118827489093noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8301854188587462574.post-21266253479983736502017-09-07T16:29:35.741+01:002017-09-07T16:29:35.741+01:00Oh, and I've never heard the radio series, to ...Oh, and I've never heard the radio series, to the TV version is all that I know (besides the books). I spent a good portion of The Force Awakens wondering if the alien who employs Rey was a nod to the vogons. He looked just like them.

I love that BBC TV series. It's amazing how cheap they can be and still be wonderful.xjuggernaughtxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12286896058684660654noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8301854188587462574.post-70208495837699672022017-09-07T16:27:02.079+01:002017-09-07T16:27:02.079+01:00Weird! It's the TV Prosser that sticks in my mind, since that was the version of HHG I was exposed to first and thus the one I like best. (I know you're supposed to like the radio series better, but I'm a terrible pleb who doesn't. :P )Loganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03769758118827489093noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8301854188587462574.post-67372261460493546912017-09-06T20:29:10.914+01:002017-09-06T20:29:10.914+01:00I always hear that in Douglas Adams' voice whe...I always hear that in Douglas Adams' voice when he was playing Mr. Prosser in the BBC series.xjuggernaughtxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12286896058684660654noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8301854188587462574.post-87749284638803591502017-09-05T23:35:26.624+01:002017-09-05T23:35:26.624+01:00I really wish sometimes that I'd got into MLP ...I really wish sometimes that I'd got into MLP back in 2010.
